Another week gone another week closer to moving back to my hometown and meeting the baby. Its a very exciting time for us. In the last week Deanna celebrated her 22nd birthday and went to one direction concert which was a present for his sister for the past Christmas. Luckily I didn't have to go to the concert so just had the day to relax and play some games. Getting our website together and growing it is a slow process but we hope people out there are enjoying it. As the months go on we will have more and more to post about but not a lot is going on until the baby comes. Over the next few weeks we will be focusing on packing, cleaning and downsizing in preparation for moving. Also I hope to make it down to Seattle this weekend for a mariners game as my blue jays are coming to town.
I have been struggling to pick baby boy names. Recently I sat down to make a list of names that I liked. This is not a final list for sure but quite possibly is. Let us know what you think about these names.Read More..
As we have posted before we are having a baby boy, unfortunately for us we are having an awful tough time finding boy names that we can agree on. We were pretty much decided when it came to girl names but cant agree yet on a good boys name. The problem comes down to is we have a large extended family with a lot of boys so we don't want to pick a name that our child's cousins will have. To add to that, we all have had experience's with many other people so when it comes to picking a name we each picture all those people with the same name that we have met which also eliminates many names right off the top.
Going forward we will basically be keeping the name a secret once we pick it until the birth announcement because we don't want family members to discourage us on our name choice once it is made.
To anyone who reads this please tell us how you decided your baby's name, or give baby name suggestions to us.
Since finding out that Deanna is pregnant life has been a bit of a whirlwind. Life is changing but changing for the good. In the last few months we have done a lot of life planning for further down the line. About to begin the process to moving back to our hometown to a better place to raise a baby. Last week we found out that we are having a baby boy which is exciting. Although we didn't have any preference for gender it will be fun to have a boy. This will be a very interesting experience for the both of us but we have a very strong relationship so we should be a good team throughout this process.
When it comes to the pregnancy process I have just tried to be as supportive as possible. I have also tried to do my fair share of research so I am prepared and so Deanna knows that I am taking it just as serious as she is. For those other future dads out there google will be your best friend as there is just so many people willing to share what they have learned. As this process goes along I will do my best to share what I have learned and any articles I have found interesting.
Thanks for reading, I plan to be posting daily but who knows how well that will go.
